Members must be the 100% owner of the vessel they represent, disclose any additional owners, and secure the permission in writing of any co-owners before any exchange negotiations.

Members vessel must have a head (conforming to local laws and regulations) and cooking facilities that are built in.

Members' vessels must be properly registered or documented and in all respects conform to all local and federal laws regarding required vessel safety and safety/lifesaving equipment.

Members are under no obligation to exchange their boat until a mutual agreement is reached with another owner.

Members must represent their vessel in a complete, accurate and truthful manner, disclosing all necessary details needed for a borrower to determine the vessel's suitability for his or her use.

Members' vessel must be insured for both hull and third-party liability protection which in all respects, indemnifies all parties in case of a loss occurring during any borrowed use.

Members agree not to offer boats for paid transactions, or charter-only purposes, and to list their boats with this site only as a bona fide listing for exchanged use, that is, use without any commercial purpose or profit.
